Piazza Duomo in Ortigia, Syracuse, in the early morning light

Full-Day Photographer in SicilyOne photographer,
your whole day.

Not one hour in one spot: I follow you from morning to evening, through your own itinerary or an existing tour, across Ortigia, Noto, the coast, wherever your day takes you.

Autumn offer · €1800 €1500 · up to 15 people · photos in 24 to 48 hours

Why a full day

Most photographers stop
after an hour.

A one or two hour session gives you one location and one hour of light. It's the right choice for a lot of trips. But if you're spending a whole day moving through Sicily, Ortigia in the morning, lunch somewhere, Noto or the coast in the afternoon, a single session only captures a fraction of it.

The full-day package is built for that: I stay with you the whole time, so the day becomes one continuous story instead of a handful of separate photos. It's also, honestly, hard to find. Most vacation photographers, including the big international booking platforms, cap out at one or two hours, and in cities like Paris or Santorini even a single four-hour session commonly runs €750 to €900 on its own. A full day with one photographer for the whole time is unusual, and in Sicily it costs less than a short session does elsewhere.

It works particularly well if you already have a private driver, guide or tour booked for the day: I simply join as the photographer alongside it, and photograph everything as it happens, without changing your plans.

What a day looks like

A few ways
people use it.

1

Ortigia, then Noto

Morning in Ortigia's old town while it's quiet: Piazza Duomo, the baroque alleys, out to Castello Maniace and the Lungomare Alfeo for the sea view. Lunch, then the golden hour drive down to Noto for the light on the baroque stone. One day, two towns, one story.

2

Touring Sicily with a driver or guide

If you've already booked a private tour around Sicily, whether it's Ortigia, Noto, Modica, the Val di Noto or further afield, I join it as the photographer for the whole route. You keep your itinerary exactly as planned, and every stop gets properly documented instead of living only on your phone.

3

Villa in the morning, town in the evening

Breakfast and the pool at your villa, then into Ortigia or Noto as the light turns warm. Both halves of the trip in one session.

4

A celebration built into a bigger day

Anniversaries, vow renewals or a proposal that's part of a longer day out: I follow the whole thing, not just the single planned moment. This is not the wedding-day service; it's for a full day of travel that happens to include a celebration.

The price

One number,
no surprises.

€1800 €1500about $1635

Up to 15 people. Travel anywhere in Syracuse (Siracusa), Ortigia, Noto and the nearby coast included. Several hundred edited photographs, delivered in a private online gallery within 24 to 48 hours, full resolution, no watermark.

Good for

Who books a full day.

Families & multigenerational trips

Up to 15 people, so grandparents and two families sharing a trip can all be in the story, across every stop of the day, not just one location.

Couples on a big day out

A honeymoon day trip, an anniversary, or simply a day you know you'll want to remember properly, covered from morning to evening.

Anyone with a tour already booked

If a private driver or guide is already taking care of the day, I join as the photographer and stay out of the way of the plan.

Short trips, seen properly

If Sicily is one stop on a longer trip and you only have one full day here, this makes sure it's the one day that's actually documented well.

Practical

Questions before you book.

What exactly is a full-day photographer?

Instead of one fixed hour in one fixed spot, I follow you from morning to evening, wherever your day takes you. It suits people who want a whole day documented rather than a single session, or who already have a private tour or itinerary planned and want it photographed properly instead of relying on phone snapshots.

Can you follow us during a tour we've already booked, with a driver or guide?

Yes, this is one of the most common ways people use the full-day package. I simply join as the photographer alongside your existing driver, guide or private tour, and photograph the day as it happens, without getting in the way of the itinerary you have already arranged.

How is this different from booking a one or two hour session?

A one or two hour session is one location, one hour of light, one mood. A full day covers several: Ortigia in the morning, lunch somewhere, Noto or the coast in the afternoon, golden hour wherever you end up. You get one continuous story of the day instead of a single set of photos.

Do most photographers in Sicily offer a full day option?

Not really. Most vacation photographers, including the big international platforms, cap out at one or two hours. A full day with one photographer for the whole time is unusual, which is exactly why people ask for it and struggle to find it.

How many photos do we get from a full day?

Several hundred edited photographs, delivered in a private online gallery within 24 to 48 hours, all downloadable at full resolution with no watermark. Exactly how many depends on how the day unfolds.

How much does a full day photographer cost in Sicily?

€1500, which is roughly $1635, for up to 15 people, travel around Syracuse, Ortigia, Noto and the nearby coast included. That is below the typical market rate for a full day of coverage in Sicily, which usually runs higher.

Can we also get video or drone footage of the day?

Yes. On request I can call in a professional videographer for video and drone footage alongside the full day, which works well for covering a villa, the coastline or the wider itinerary from the air. The videographer's price is agreed separately, based on what you want filmed.
